Hello All,
Unfortunately I am in a extremely tough position. My father was killed and My grandmother was attacked in the midst of battling cancer and a host of other chronic illness. This horrendous attack has resulted in her transitioning after a valiant fight for her life the past weeks. My family and I have been working tireless to get my grandmother's affairs in order so that we may memorialize her according to her wishes.
My father did not have life insurance, therefore we have had to come out of pocket for those expenses. My Dad was all my grandmother had, and I'm all he had so everything falls on my shoulders. I'm only 24 and they meant the world to me. They were my therapist, best friend, dad, grandmother, provider, and a million other things I cannot begin to replace. While I know I'm strong enough to get through this eventually, I have had to take extra time from work, which in most cases has been unpaid just to get in the best head space so that my work does not suffer. This has created an even tougher situation for me as my bills have started to become overwhelming and I still have expenses for my grandmother's memorial services to consider. I am asking my community to help me in this time of financial need. My grandmother and father left a legacy of helping others in their time of need. They taught me to always help others. I have lived my life this way and would hope others see it in their hearts to give what ever they can.
