Memorial Fund for Joseph Carrillo
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that our family shares news of Joe Carrillo’s recent passing. He was a beloved father, papa, step-father and friend. He was a music man with an incredible sense of adventure and deep family values. Papa had a way of living for the moment, knowing not to take life too seriously and to always take time to soak up the little things. His smiles and laughter were infectious, his love was free and unconditional.
Papa never passed up an opportunity to share with others that he was a proud father and papa. His girls were his world and he, theirs. There are just no words for how profound this loss is for our family.
I am setting up this go fund me for my sister, Ariel Carrillo, to help with expenses related to navigating this unexpected loss. As a single mom in a different state than her father’s home, she is facing extended time away from work and a growing list of expenses in handling his affairs and preserving his memory. In all honesty, I don’t think our starting goal is going to really begin to touch on the expenses she is facing.
We know Papa Joe’s legacy is vast and the news of his loss will be felt far and wide. With this account, we hope to give anyone wishing to donate to his memorial costs a chance to do so. Most of all, we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you who were intricate parts of his incredible life because you all played a part in making his life one worth living.
Furthermore, we would like to extend invitation to anyone wishing to celebrate Joe’s life with us on 10/14/24, 6pm at the Springfield, OR VFW hall. My sister is asking that people bring memories to share and guitars to play.
Oh yeah, and one more thing… Go Seahawks!
With love,
