Josephine “Jojo” Bardiago Algas was a grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, classmate, and friend, beloved by those who knew and spent time with her. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 11:28 AM in California. She fought spiritedly for three whole months from complications from cardiac arrest, despite the doctors giving her only days to live. She was a strong, vibrant, generous, and loving woman, who dreamed of traveling the world, retiring in her hometown of Laguna, Philippines, and seeing her children, nieces, and granddaughter succeed in their lives. She is and will be missed dearly.
There will be a small memorial and burial for Mama Jojo on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 attended in person by her immediate family only due to COVID-19 regulations. For friends and other family members, we ask you to celebrate her life with us by tuning in to the live stream on her Facebook page on April 22nd at 11:00 AM PST.
