Memorial Fund for Joan Panisa

Joan Panisa, a loving mother to William Taylor & Jonathan Panisa.

On January 3, 1968, a beautiful soul was born into this world. Her name is Joan Bennett Panisa, born to the parents Romeo and Edith Panisa. She was the second raised along with her siblings Maridel, Joemel and Romeo Jr. Panisa. Joan was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines and grew up in South America, the islands of Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana. She came to the United States to further her future and have her ambitions.


Joan attended Hayward High and continued on to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Business administration and specialized in Human resources at Cal State University. She has been residing in Irvine, California since 2001. Joan brought two wonderful sons into this world, their  names William and Jonathan. Since then Joan has made wonderful friends and touched many lives. Her sons described her as a selfless, caring, joyful person. There was never an end; she was always starting something new. Joan was determined and ambitious and there was no mountain she could not climb, or any obstacle that was thrown at her that she couldn’t overcome.

Joan loved spending time with her boys, shopping, renovation, adventures, hiking and so much more. She always pushed herself and believed in the moral good in everyone, if you needed help she was always there no matter what. Joan's life was short-lived and taken from her. But no one will ever forget how much of a loving mother, daughter, sister, partner, and aunt she was and always in our heart will be.


Joan Panisa passed peacefully in her home Sunday,  March 30th 2019.  We ask for your support during this difficult time to assist with memorial and funeral services.
