Jessica Delgado: Beloved wife and mother of one.
Jessica was the most amazing mother I could’ve ever asked for. She came to the United States by winning a lucky lottery with me and my father. We never had much in life, however we always enjoyed the simple things in life and my mother pushed us to pursue a higher education which told us that was something that couldn’t be taken away from us. She learned English and would constantly stay up late every night since the last day I saw her to work on her studies. She had a bachelor and a masters and was working on her second masters. She was not only my mother but also my role model and my biggest supporter. Unfortunately on Saturday, March 21st an accident occurred that took away her life. My mom’s last message to me was that she was going to pick up my uncle from work and that was the same time I lost the most precious woman of my life. On the Us1 and 17th at around 11PM   someone decided to speed up during a red light and in the blink of an eye her life vanished. I was in so much shock and agony because I couldn’t believe this tragedy had happened to one of the most cautious people I knew. This just proves anything can happen in the most unexpected times and nobody can prepare for it. My mom did not deserve this and had her whole life that she worked so hard for ahead of her. Readjusting is going to be difficult, and I know current times are dire but any donations regardless the amount would help the family tremendously. Thank you everyone for the support.
