Memorial fund for Jason Vance, taken by COViD
The money donated to this GoFundMe will go towards Jason's living expenses for his family, medical bills, and the funeral costs.
Jason's wife Jen has been in the predicament of attempting to grieve over the loss of her father first and now her husband to COViD-19, while at the same time trying to come up with the funds for their living expenses so her family has time to plan another funeral and figure out where they will go from here.
Hi everyone, today is the day I lost my brother Jason Vance to COViD-19. Father, Husband, Son, cousin, uncle and friend to others, Jason was the most kind hearted person anyone could ever meet. Working on his own business as a contractor in home improvements, he worked effortlessly to take care of his wife and two kids. There wasn't a face that didn't brighten up when his smile entered a room. Whether it be Taco Tuesday's with his niece and nephews, teaching his brother's how to lift weights or hunt, renovating his fathers home, or spending all the time he possibly can with his wife.
Jason came down with COViD-19 a few weeks ago. He had just returned from Louisiana attending his father-in-law's funeral, who was also recently lost to COViD. Feeling sick a few days after returning on August 1st 2021 he was hospitalized and it wasn't much longer after that when he was ventilated. His lungs were putting up the fight for his life. He was in an induced coma for 2 weeks today before his body couldn't put up the fight any longer.
Jason passed away at age 39, he was going to turn 40 in October.
As you can imagine his family is in distraught trying to cope with such a loss, two blows one after the other that they've experienced. I know this past year or so we've all lost many of our friends and family members to COViD and times are trying, but my sister-in-law, Jen, managing the loss of her husband and father only weeks apart is a heartbreaking thought. Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated. Thank you all for reading and I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day.
