Memorial Fund for James Neeley

On October 16, 2021, a beautiful soul transitioned from earthly pain to eternal peace. James “Jimmy” Neeley passed away while resting comfortably in his home after a years-long struggle with chronic health challenges.

Jimmy leaves behind his wife, Shante’, and their four children—daughter Jaiden (11), son James (6), and daughters Kaila (4) and Talia (2)—in addition to countless others touched by his care, concern, and compassion.

Because Jimmy was so beloved—by his wife, children, parents, sibling, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends—we all feel both the deep grief of losing him, but also some comfort in knowing his suffering has come to an end.

In this difficult time, please keep Jimmy’s entire family in your prayers.

We are arranging a funeral and celebration of his life, and we will post details and updates here.

This will be a very difficult transition for the family. Funeral expenses are daunting. The children need extra care and attention to process the loss of their father. And Shante’ will need to take time away from work to manage all of this.
