In Memory of Ignacio" Nacho" Alvarez

Hello Friends…

So many of you may know someone or have a family member that have tested positive for Covid.  We’ve all kept our eyes on the news the last 9 months and have seen the havoc this virus has caused, some have lost jobs, some have been stuck at home, some have had to juggle jobs and online learning, but at the end of the day we are all dealing with it together.  No matter the circumstance this has been difficult on us all.  Today the circumstances for one family became a nightmare.

Nacho was hospitalized with Covid late November and battled the horrific virus alone in the ICU while his family waited and prayed, but like so many other families they were not able to be by his side.  Today Nacho lost his battle and now the family has lost a husband and father.  We at Command have lost not only a talented chef but a dear CP Family member. 

Many of you reading this have that one special co-worker that always greets you with a genuine hello and an infectious smile, well that’s was our Nacho.  When the time is right and this nightmare ends we will honor him and celebrate his life but for now we are asking for your help to assist the family during this time.  Anything you can provide will go such a long way.
 
The pandemic has made things harder, and we realize that his family is not the only one struggling. We appreciate any help anyone is kind enough to offer. No amount is too small.
