Memorial Fund for Gerald Hammond Jr.

To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, Gerald Hammond Jr. was in a tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday night, April 22nd around 10:30 PM in New Castle, Indiana. He was life lined to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Junior has sustained a very bad head injury and has been in a coma and on life support since he was brought into the hospital. The medical team and doctors did everything they could for Junior but his injuries were so devastating that there was nothing more that could be done.
Tomorrow morning, the doctors are going to take him off life support, allowing him to pass naturally and be with God. As you know, Junior would give anyone the shirt off his back, and continuing that giving spirit; he is donating his organs to others in need.
Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here.
We've received an outpouring of kind texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this fundraiser has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans as well as offer a place for messages and donations to be left.
