Hi, My name is Annette (Jenks) Collinsworth. With great regret and sadness we announce that, my cousin, Gabe Jenks passed away early this morning from a fentanyl overdose after a long battle of trying to get and stay clean and sober. Addiction is a heart-breaking, scary, and difficult condition. Many people judge addicted persons too quickly and often. Addiction is a disease, often caused by or related to mental health conditions. We are all in shock as things had been getting better for Gabe.

His parents, Ivy and Carey Jenks, (my Aunt and Uncle) have had a rough several years with both of them having cancer and raising their family. And they still have the two youngest kids still at home.

We are asking for donations to help pay for funeral and burial costs. We know that it's a busy time of year and funds can be tight. Anything will help to get them through the financial part of this difficult process.
