Memorial fund for Ezekiel Hall

This is a fundraiser for Lynn and Steve Dodenhoff, the grieving family of 16 year old Ezekiel Hall, who tragically died on Tuesday, June 16th, 2021. "Zeke" was a wonderful young man, loved by everyone, with his whole life in front of him. He was raised by his Grandparents Lynn and Steve, who are reeling from this loss. And Lynn Dodenhoff is no stranger to tragedy, so we must hold her up at this difficult time, because she has truly endured more than anyone should be able.

Lynn may be known to some of you: she was a tireless advocate for her beloved daughter Christine Sheddy, who was reported missing in Nov. of 2007, and who's murder would never have been solved if not for Lynn's dogged, spine-steeled resolution to fight to the bitter end to bring her daughters killers to justice. Not satisfied with just that, after finding out that the woman involved in disposing of the body and obstructing justice for years got more time for breaking and entering than for her participation in the murder, Lynn fought to get "Sheddy's Law" passed, named for her daughter, to insure stricter punishment for those involved as accessories in violent crimes.  Lynn also got involved politically to hold people responsible, and has continued to help others who are facing similar difficulties. Anyone who has ever met Lynn knows she is a fierce, loving, loyal fighter who has survived the unimaginable, and always looks to help others before herself. I met Lynn when I was filming a documentary about her story, and I have remained friends with her ever since. She is unforgettable and my heart breaks for her.

Lynn and Steve and Zeke's sister, brother, family and countless friends are beyond devastated by his death. Please help in any way you can to ease just a little bit of the stress and burden for Lynn and Steve. The funeral and memorial costs are huge, and this family will need time and support to get through this difficult time.
