Memorial Fund for Emily's Three Children

Emily Howell Ross, 43, of Spokane, WA, died unexpectedly on November 8, 2021, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Her three children, Daniel (21), Isaac (19), and Madeleine Morris (17), are devastated by this loss and were completely unprepared.

Emily was passionate about education and Mother Nature, and loved sharing these experiences with her family. All her children are highly intelligent and dedicated to learning. Daniel graduated from North Central High School in 2018 and attended Whitworth University. He is currently taking a break from school but hopes to return at a later date. Isaac was part of the 2020 graduating class at North Central High School and was accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, class of 2025. The youngest, Madeleine, attends Lewis and Clark High School and is also part of the NEWTech Pre-Veterinary Assisting program through Spokane Schools. Madeleine will graduate next year from high school and plans to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Recently the children’s father, Joseph Morris, Emily’s ex-husband, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and is receiving treatment in Seattle, WA. This has placed significant emotional and financial stress on the family.

The primary goal of this fund is to help Madeleine with her continued education; however, this account will be available for all three children for incidental costs related to the untimely death of their mother and likely terminal diagnosis of their father. Please help these young adults navigate these difficult times. Thank you so much.
