On May 21, Denise "Neesie" Shadden passed away from organ failure after months of trips to the ER and doctor visits. Denise's death was a sudden and tragic loss for her family, friends, and anyone that has known Denise. 

Denise was a selfless, caring person who would be willing to give you her very last dollar to make sure you didn't go hungry. Denise's laughter would light up any room. From karaoke in the car to long games of Yahtzee, Denise's personality would bring joy and laughter. Throughout her life, she sacrificed her time and energy to not only raise her two beautiful children, with her husband, Jeff Shadden, but helped be a constant figure in others lives. She was the matriarch and glue to keep her family together. Over the last few years, she worked full-time as a restaurant server and a caretaker of her elderly parents. 

Throughout the last year, she dealt with multiple health issues, ranging from heart issues to strokes to liver disease. With these constant health issues, she was continuing to help her parents, up until her father's death in early May. 

Her death came as a tragic and sudden shock to those in her family. We are setting this donation page as a chance and opportunity to help her husband with the final arrangements and any extra expenses. 

I would like to say thank you for any contribution you put forth and you are greatly appreciated and loved by her whole family. We will miss our Neesie everyday but we know that she will be with us always. We love you Denise Shadden!
