Deborah Mercier, mother of Alisha Mercier, passed away on June 4, 2020. She lives on in her daughter's inextinguishable smile. Amid her grief, Alisha says she's grateful for the time the two of them were able to spend together these past few months while quarantined in their neighboring apartments in Inglewood, California. Just the day before Deborah's passing, Alisha was laid off from her job as a children's educator and, facing funeral bills and the ongoing cost-of-living, is now in need of immediate financial support from her friends and community.
