On April 3, 2017, a piece of me was taken, my son David Parrilla Jr. was called to heaven after unexpected complications following gallbladder surgery. This has left close family and friends in a feeling of numbness, especially after supporting him throughout his five year long battle with MS (Multiple Sclerosis).
David Parrilla Jr. was a 32 year old son, brother, husband and devoted father of two beautiful children, ages three and one. He was a hardworking man of faith who was never shy in the loyalty to his friends, family and any who would seek his assistance. With no hesitation, David would extend whatever he had to ensure the wellbeing of others regardless of the situation.
As a survivor of Multiple Sclerosis which he battled since late 2013, I watched my son go through some of the most difficult experiences as he fought through the process. Even in moments where weakness was at an all-time high, a bad day for him was never made visible as he always cared more about seeing others smile. Never would David wish to see anyone worried for him as his desires were to make sure that everyone was happy. David was fortunate enough to be selected for stem cell treatments through a program that focused on MS research.
All donations will be greatly appreciated and will go towards to funeral cost and for the grandchildren's future.
The funeral will be held at McCracken at 2124 E st Georges ave in linden from 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Friday. The church services will be on Saturday at St John's the apostle at 1 Ridgeview terrace in Clark at 10pm.
