Cynthia Mancini Friedeborn Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Dave Friedeborn, and I’m Cynthia’s son.

My mom passed away on April 1st after a long and painful battle with stage 4 endometrial cancer that eventually spread to her lungs. She was everything to me and my brother Glenn. She was our foundation, our warmth, our safety, and our biggest source of unconditional love.

We are raising funds to help pay for her funeral, the church service, and the celebration of life we’re planning to hold in her honor. She gave so much of herself to others throughout her life, and we want to give her something beautiful and peaceful in return.

The last year has been extremely hard for our family. Watching her fight through every day with courage and grace was both heartbreaking and inspiring. She never stopped loving. She never stopped caring. Even when she was in pain, she was more worried about how we were doing than herself.

If you knew my mom, you know how generous she was. She gave with her whole heart. Now we are just trying to carry that spirit forward by giving her the goodbye she deserves.
