Memorial Fund for Cortney J. Guerin
Donation protected
I never in my life thought i would have to sit and write a post such as this, but here I sit. Lost in our sorrow of the tragic and unexpected passing of Cortney J. Guerin. Please forgive me as I am finding it difficult to find the right words to describe the radiant soul that Cortney is and the pain we will forever carry from loosing her too soon.
First, I wanted to let you all know that we are starting this fundraiser on behalf of Jaleen, Cortney's mother, to help ease the financial burden that comes with such tragic events. All money raised will go straight to Jaleen and anything helps, even a share. I would also like to thank you all on behalf of Cortney's entire family. We love you, all of you. Cortney was Jaleen's only daughter and the center of her world. Let's all come together to show our love and support and to also say our, Til we meet again's, to our beloved girl. She was a daughter, friend, Aunt, cousin, shoulder to lean on and a bright light in an often dim world, I love you lil sis. Forever your sister, Kristie.
I know that we could all share a million stories of the times we spent with Cortney. For me she was my little sister, not in blood, but in heart/mind/soul and life. I love her. She will always be my sister and I am beyond grateful and blessed to hold such a title to such an amazing woman. For all of us you noticed the moment she walked into a room in instantly grew brighter. If you didn't know her you wanted to, and if you did you couldn't wait to hug her and share a laugh or two. She was beautiful, beyond beautiful really, unique, witty, smart, talented, funny, outgoing, caring, radiant... Honestly I cannot find enough words to encompass all that Cortney was to all of us. Words cannot describe such a beautiful being.
Now we find ourselves in a world a little dimmer without her light to help brighten our days. I take some peace knowing we are all now being watched over by this incredible angel we call Cortney. I will look for signs of you everywhere. Everything beautiful, the sunset, a perfect day, a butterfly flying by, I will think of you always.
Thank you all for reading. I am truly sorry for everyone's loss. I will update with memorial plans as I get them and please share this with friends if you could. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Thank you all.
Warmest Regards,
Kristie Krebs
