Memorial Fund For Conor McAlinden

Conor tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sunday July 12th at the age of 45.

Conor was one of the most beautiful souls that you could ever wish to meet.

He was charming, generous, witty, and warm. He had a great sense of humour, and he loved to laugh until he cried (which would often culminate in a slap of his thigh!).

He was a talented linguist, a hugely successful English teacher, a published author, a keen guitarist and music lover, he appreciated the finer things in life, and approached life with an infectious positivity.

He was a great friend, loyal, kind and supportive. He had so many friends, from all walks of life, and he had a knack of bringing different people together.

He was a fantastic son and brother, who adored his father Don, and his siblings Ronan, Tara and Liam.

But more than anything, Conor was a wonderful husband and father, who loved and adored his beloved wife Patri and his beautiful sons Leo (3) and Marco (11 months).

His unexpected, early departure is a monumental loss for so many people. It really is so difficult to come to terms with, and life will never be the same without him.

We've received so many messages of support, love and affection for Conor, from all over the world, with many people asking how they can help Conor's family.

With this in mind, we've set up this Go Fund Me page, to honour Conor, and support his beloved wife Patri, and Leo and Marco, through these difficult times.

A memorial service to celebrate Conor's life is planned for Spring/Summer 2021 in Madrid.
