Memorial Fund for Concepcion Guzman

Hello, my name is Shyann. My family & I are fundraising money for the funeral services of Concepcion Guzman, our patriarch.

On February 23, 2024 his caretaker, my Tia Nora, took him to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted. The next few days were a roller coaster. Some days he wouldn’t eat anything and others he was excited for his meal. His health was not getting any better and the doctors told us there wasn’t much else they could do for him, as the antibiotics were not working. The hospital made arrangements for him to be discharged and have the necessary equipment available at home. He was scheduled to be discharged on the evening of March 4, 2024. On March 4, 2024 at 1:45 PM, while napping, he quietly gained his angel wings at the age of 98.

After his wife’s passing in 2005, Concepcion prepaid for his casket & viewing services. While this did lessen the burden, we are still left with various costs from the Mortuary, Cemetery, and Church. If you could help us raise money to pay for these additional fees during this very painful time, our family would truly appreciate it. No amount will lessen the heartbreak, but it is our hope to give him the celebration of life he rightfully deserved.

We are confident he was greeted into Heaven by his late wife, Maria, sons Mario & Gonzalo, & daughters Rosa & Esther with their arms wide open. He will be greatly missed.
