Hi everyone, my name is Michelle, and I am starting a fundraiser to cover the costs of my niece’s medical bills and after-death expenses.

This week has been a difficult roller-coaster ride for my family. With a heavy heart, we announce the loss of our precious baby girl, Cecilia Marie Pike, who was only 10-years-old.

Her passing comes as a shock and disbelief to all of us as her passing was completely unexpected. On Monday evening, Cecilia was rushed to the emergency room after being found unconscious in her bedroom after an attempted suicide. She underwent critical care and remained on life-support fighting for her life at UC Davis medical hospital for an entire week. Unfortunately, after a hard-fought battle yesterday afternoon, we received the heartbreaking (and devastating) news of her passing.

If you knew Cecilia, you’d know that she made a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend. She was more than just a loving, kind, and selfless person. Cecilia was a vibrant, fiery, goofy, and compassionate child who genuinely cared about helping and comforting others.

Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help our family during this difficult time. We are incredibly grateful for your thoughtfulness and prayers. We would genuinely appreciate it if you would consider keeping my sister, and her children in your prayers. Also, if you are able to help, we would appreciate any monetary donations to help us cover medical bills and after-death expenses as we hope to hold a beautiful memorial and viewing ceremony for our precious angel, Cecilia.
