Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and read this page. Last night on November 5, we lost a beloved member of our family unexpectedly. Billy was an amazing and strong (and strong willed) man. He had a one-of-a-kind personality and could always make you laugh. He was on the up and up with his life, monumentally turning it around from a lower point and making his entire family so very proud of him while also developing and re-developing strong and loving relationships with his 2 daughters, ages 10 and 24. He was a hard worker, working upwards of 12 to 16 hours a day of physical labor which he loved, and he also loved his family; contributing anything he could to those around him. He was also very young still, passing at only 50 years old.
Unfortunately, about 2 months ago, Billy had an emergency while driving to work where his body began to go numb. He pulled over fearing a heart attack and was taken straight to the hospital where Doctors were baffled at this mysterious and almost instant paralysis of his entire body. Un-diagnosed, He remained in the hospital for several weeks before being transferred to a Physical Rehabilitation Center where he spent around another month. Slowly, he began to regain use of his upper body and we were all optimistic for his recovery. Once he was able to move himself into a wheel chair, he was able to go back home where he lived with his niece Heather, her 3 children, and his mother who all loved him dearly. The entire family pulled together to do whatever possible to give Billy the best quality of life given his new state, remaining hopeful for a full recovery. It was very unexpected last night when Billy made a comment about feeling dizzy immediately before he stopped breathing. Every effort was made to resuscitate him; first by a trained family member and then by the EMT's when they arrived, but it was not enough. Family gathered at the hospital to reluctantly and tearfully say their goodbyes to him.
We created this GoFundMe page because Billy did not have health or life insurance and the family needs assistance with cremation and memorial costs. If you could find it in your heart to donate any dollar amount, it would not go unappreciated. Any amount helps!

Billy is survived by his Mother, Florence, his daughters Abby (10) and Lacey (24) and Granddaughter Zoey (2), his sister Leah, and her husband Don, his niece Heather and her 3 children Braden, Zollah, and Aleah, his nephew Rob, wife Melissa and great nephew Blake, as well as his nephew Andy, wife Tayler, and soon-to-be-born great nephew Brantley, as well as other close friends and family members, and his boss Jayson, whom has proven to be an invaluable member of this family with his unwavering love and support.
