Memorial Fund for Bill Sayatovic

My name is Neil and my wife Kerri was Billy's cousin.

To start off, if you knew Billy or worked with him, then you knew he would "absolutely" be the last person to ever accept a hand out or charity of any kind. That being said, you also probably know that he would help anyone he knew needed the help and give you the shirt off of his back to do so. That is why I created this memorial fund, to give back to the man who gave so much to so many.

Billy has unfortunately left us much too soon. He passed on the morning of Tuesday September 28th, 2021 at 49 years old. Left behind are his wife, Marta, two young daughters, Kayli and Alyssa, along with many, many other family and friends.

Billy had just started a new business with his wife to provide a nest egg for his family. With his daughters off in college, Billy and Marta went north to Wisconsin to begin a new venture. He spent countless hours, back and forth between Illinois and Wisconsin, between his mother Cheryl in Berwyn, working at McCormick place in Chicago, or the countless side jobs he would work on here and there just to make ends meet and try to get their dream off the ground, tragically he has left us before seeing this come to fruition...

This is why I ask those who remember Billy, and the kind of person he was, please leave a donation if you are able, to help the family with any costs they may incur during these most dire times. Every donation would be a small bit of burden taken off the shoulders of his grieving family.

There is a memorial service planned for family and friends of Billy on Saturday October 9th from 3:00pm-close at Big Billy's Bar and Grill at 437 E Mill St in Plymouth, WI. I encourage any of you who can take the ride to do so and share your stories of Billy amongst friends and family. Please also we ask you to bring photos of yourselves and Billy if you have them as they will be added to an area in the bar as a tribute to Billy for those who visit to see who Billy was and the many people he cared for.
