Bill was spending a wonderful day at the beach with his family when he was boogie boarding and got pulled under the water by a wave.  He hit his head which caused paralysis.  He was flown to Duke where he had surgery.  During recovery, he developed pneumonia.  Bill passed on Wednesday July 25th just a week and a half after the accident.  This is to help his family with medical bills and funeral expenses.
