On Tues. Sept. 15th Andrew Ramirez lost his courageous and hard fought three year battle with cancer. He was a fighter and fought until there was no fight left. Andy was 43 years old and leaves behind his wife, Rabecca and six children, one that is still at home. 

Rabecca Ramirez has been right by Andy's side through all of his hospital stays, chemotherapy and Hospice. Andy had to quit working as the cancer progressed,  Rabecca who works for DMV  took medical family leave to be with Andy these past few months. Family leave only pays for eight weeks. She is left not only with a broken heart and missing soulmate but with bills that need paid and a family to support.

My husband Dave and I are fortune to be best friends and nextdoor neighbors with Andy's father Kenny and his wife Dianne Ramirez. We are starting this fundraiser to honor Andy and his family as well as support Rabecca.
