Memorial Fund for Alicia "Ms. Lisa" Smith

This year we lost a most beloved member of our Irvington Elementary School, Ms. Lisa to cancer.

 

Ms. Lisa began working in the field of education and with students in 1995 starting at Humboldt Elementary. During her career as a school secretary, she worked at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, Benson Night School and spent the last 15 years at Irvington Elementary.

 

She was quick with a smile and cared for every one of our students. We miss her dearly and would like to hold a memorial service for her on December 17th for Irvington families and others to attend. We would also like to install a bench and make two memorial plaques one for the bench and one for the office at Irvington Elementary school.

 

Any remaining funds will be given to Ms. Lisa's family to help pay for medical expenses.
