As many have probably heard by now, Adam's mom Helen passed away early Tuesday morning unexpectedly. Many have been checking in with him and with me to see how he's doing. He and his two sisters are hanging in there and are together in Roanoke working through the process. I think at this point Adam is just numb going through the motions to make final arrangements.

Adam and his sisters are tentatively planning a celebration of life memorial service for mid March. Helen was well known and well liked as a long time resident of Roanoke and it is expected that attendance will be high for any services. Due to the unexpected nature of Helen's passing, and other factors with the family, the brunt of the cost for Helen's memorial will fall on Adam.

Adam is well loved by all of us and an exceptional NATCA brother who works incredibly hard for his union with a passion for serving his union sisters and brothers. This fundraiser is to show Adam and his family our support and to help with the cost of Helen's celebration of life.
