My name is LiLu "Foxx" Allen and this beautiful woman is Marian. Marian Curtis is the widow of a WWII Veteran who was a survivor of the Pearl Harbor Massacre. She was funny, intelligent, and an overall joy to be around. Through complicated means, I had the pleasure of meeting Marian when I was about twelve, and she's been a part of my family since. My mother Beth and Marian's daughter Donna have worked tirelessly to support her, but both of them are disabled and unable to work full-time jobs. They can't afford rent, let alone a memorial service for her. Outside of the two of them, my two younger sisters and I, she doesn't have any family left to help.
Marian showed me that you don't have to be stuck in the past just because you grew up in a different time. She taught me you can live a full life well into old age. Even on her deathbed, exhausted and hardly conscious, she remembered who I was. She remembered me and my sisters. She was a bright and shining star that lived to be ninety-nine years old. Ninety-nine and we can't even afford an obituary in the paper. The goal of this page is to not only give her a memorial but get her obituary out there, her life deserves to be celebrated. I will love her until the end of time and she deserves at least that much.
Please help us give Marian the commemoration she deserves.
Thank you.
