For those of you who know Donald Gibbs Jr. he sadly passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning December 16, 2016.His children Katie and Josh who loved him dearly are faced with all the expenses for final arrangements.
Don went to college at Lincoln Christian College. He loved every minute of his time there and was a big supporter all through his life. After graduation he began his ministry in Ludlow, IL and then had a Youth Minister position in Kenosha at First Christian where he and Marta had their first child, Katie. Don then went into sales and financial management where he thrived with his outgoing personality. They then had their second child Joshua and moved to Brookfield, WI where the kids grew up. Katie's high school years and Joshua's late elementary through high school were spent living in Waukesha, WI where everyone in the family made lifelong friends and Don continued to live until his recent passing.
Don recently started his own business, doing what he loved, baking to spread joy through his amazing cookies from the Midwest to Nashville. Dirks Bentley was one on of his favorite customers.
Don loved life and making people laugh. He always knew how to make someone smile even if he was giving you a hard time. Don was also an avid sports fan. The Packers, Badgers and Brewers.
He always made sure children, who came to church, felt welcomed and loved. He always had a warm inviting smile, a firm handshake or hug for anyone that needed it.
