Ronda Baty was such a light to this world. Her beauty and grace touched countless lives through her work, church and community. If you knew Ronda, you knew what a loyal friend, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, mentor, leader, and beautiful soul she was. Her strength and determination were boundless, and her gentleness and grace knew no end.
As a member of our framily that we call The Village, we met Ronda through serving the little lives and their families of Sandals Church in Riverside, CA. While individually we were there helping out on a Saturday or Wednesday night or Thursday morning with the little ones, we really became a family that was brought together by Ronda. Her service was second to none, and her heart for all of us was immeasurable!
Sadly, we lost our beautiful Ronda on Friday, August 30 without any warning. She leaves behind her parents, Dwight and Lynne Stone, her children, Devin, Sydney, Aaron and Ashley, her grandchildren Arianna, Kayleigh, Emma and Jesse, and her sister Theresa and her family along with countless other family and friends. While we are devestated at our loss, we are rallying around her family during this time.
If you knew Ronda, family meant absolutely everything to her. She would do just about anything for her family, which also included adopting her now 3 1/2-year old grandson Jesse a couple of years ago. Her strong loyalty to family is now carried through the family members she leaves behind.
Today, her daughter Sydney is not only faced with the loss of her mother, but she is now faced with the responsibility of caring for Jesse and navigating being a single parent without her own mother to walk her through this.
In memory of Ronda, and in support of her family, this Go Fund Me page has been created by The Village.
All proceeds will go directly to her daughter Sydney and grandson Jesse to cover funeral/memorial expenses, legal expenses that Sydney will face while obtaining custody of Jesse, and support of them in the months to come.
We are touched by the generosity of any amount for this deserving family. We are thankful for those that have already reached out to Sydney and Jesse and the rest of the family through giving and prayers.
