I am writing here today to inform you know about the loss of our Father, Husband and Friend, Roderick Truex. Roderick passed away on April 1, 2022. This was a very unexpected loss. Roderick served in the U.S. Army in the earlier portion of his life followed by being a dedicated truck driver in his professional career. But best of all, he was a father to two children, Alan and Amber. At the root of his heart and being, his children came first. In the moments Alan and Amber had with their father, he would spend an extensive amount of time checking in with them and sharing his experience of life and sometimes even sharing how to get around the country by car with turn by turn directions. (Expect a one hour route analysis.) But, that what his way to stay on the phone longer. He’s also survived by his wife Dawn Truex. Dawn and Rod have been married for 26 years. Roderick was the love of her life. Dawn works for Target and is a on a minimal income and this is a difficult time, again, as it was totally unexpected.

All monies collected will go to Dawn as she works to financially get back on her feet.

I am his son, Alan Truex. I will be withdrawing the funds and delivering them to Dawn Truex.
