Memorial for Robert Gary Davis

On July 7, 2021, my father had been complaining about heart burn shooting up and down the middle of his chest. He nor anyone else thought it was anything major. His wife, Leigh Ann, was very concerned and strongly suggested he see a doctor due to his history with high blood pressure, but my father insisted he was okay. He stayed on the couch while Leigh Ann went to put their other 4 kids to sleep. An hour later his 8 year old daughter Sophia went to go get her dad so she could sleep with him. She found him with white lips and he was not breathing. She got her mom and her and his 14 year old son, Jeremiah, began CPR and called the ambulance. The paramedics did everything they could but his heart had stopped for too long. He suffered a heart attack. Robert Gary Davis, father of 6, went to heaven on July 8, 2021. Robert was the most caring and goofy father. He worked so hard to give his kids and wife the best life imaginable. He always lit up the room with a glowing aroma that lifted the faces of everyone around him. He never judged anyone and always put everyone else before him. He loved everybody he encountered and accepted them no matter what. This experience has put my family at a very low point. With a 2, 5, and 8 year old who just lost their daddy and don't understand where he is and his wife who just lost her soulmate, we have a lot to deal with already. Leigh Ann will need to take some time off work and with funeral expenses and other necessities we are gonna be very tight. We could use all the help we could get. A dollar goes a long way. We are all so heartbroken at the loss of such an incredible man. We love and miss you so much dad!
