Go Fund Me Hello all - my name is Kristen and I have been a friend of Mayra and Ray for a little over 10 years now. I wanted to set this account up for the family and friends of the couple to be able to donate funds for the funeral costs as well as upcoming bills and their accumulated debt. As most of you know, Ray was working to put Mayra through nursing school, so she is going to need our help. I asked Mayra to what she would like to say about her high school sweetheart and husband of 12 years… ”Ray Bruner, what is there not to say. Ray will always be remembered for always putting others ahead of himself. If someone asked for help, he would be right there to help them, above his own needs. A comedian as many of you are fully aware of, but also an intelligent human being that could talk about the most interesting topics, never a dull conversation with him. He was a person that would make you really think outside the box. ‘Ray Bruner tragically left this Earth much too soon on April 1st at the age of 31 years. It was caused by a car accident in Houston, only ten minutes away from his destination. He was almost home, but unfortunately.... he never made it. ‘Ray enjoyed his job in sales and finance in the car industry. He created many close relationships here and outside of his job. He worked hard to support me through nursing school, cared for his disabled father, loved his two rescue dogs and was the glue for his entire family. ‘Thank you all, he loved every single one of you, oh so very much.” If Ray Bruner ever helped you out, made you laugh, or made an impact on your life in any way, we ask for your support in raising donations to help pay for his funeral costs. Since there was no life insurance policy in place, Mayra needs all of our help. She just recently started a nursing job, but will be taking time off to grieve and get their finances in order.
