Memorial for Preston Eli Hess

Hello friends, and friends of friends. Thank you for reading this, I greatly cherish your time. My name is Brittany, and I come to you with a heavy, heavy heart. On November 15th, our sweet baby boy, my God son, Preston Eli Hess passed away in his sleep unexpectedly at just 2 1/2 months old. We are struggling to comprehend this loss. Such a healthy child, this has come as a complete shock to our family. Not only are we mourning the loss of such a precious, valuable part of our lives (he was the first grandchild), but his mother is also suffering beyond any comprehension that I can possibly fathom. Preston was her first child and the loss is so heavy to bare. We are simply traumatized and extremely unprepared for such a sudden and tragic passing of our sweet boy. Preston was an unexpected blessing. We all loved him so, SO much. He was a quiet baby who loved his Mother with the biggest smiles and adored being outside. His mother is very young, and the family is not financially prepared to deal with this loss. We have had blessings and kind people shine through during these times, but we are still in need of help. We are very low on funds to provide Preston with the best funeral we can give him, as his time was cut so short we’ve really no other way of honoring him besides this. He and the family are in need of funeral funds, a tombstone, Mom will need therapy and mental health care, and the family needs support so that they may properly recover at home, with the family, out of work during this time. The loss of anyone is hard, but the loss of an infant is exceptionally difficult. I have done everything I can do to contribute to the family, and my God daughter and her son. If there is anything you can do to help, donate, or even share this post…I am forever grateful to you and give you thanks 1,000 times. Anything counts, as our biggest wish is that we can give our boy the proper goodbye that he deserves.
