Sadly on January 2nd, 2020, my mother lost her brave fight against cancer. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
In honor of her life and those she has touched over the years, we are starting a fundraiser for a memorial to be dedicated in her honor.
As many know about my mother, she had an incredible appreciation and love for the arts. Growing up and to this day, one of our favorite places to spend time as a family is Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC. It is a wonderful outdoor sculpture garden that embodies everything that she loved: beautiful art, surrounded by extensive history, in one of her most cherished places on Earth.
Our goal is to raise $6,000, so that we may dedicate a bench and plaque in her honor and allow my father to pick the place where he can visit her for eternity.
