We are collecting donations to fund a memorial for Owen Sedlacek, Carissa's son, who tragically passed on January 16, 2022, at the young age of 19 years old. We are currently planning to have a memorial bench built in his honor and the Sedlacek family can choose where they would like it placed. However, if Carissa would prefer that the money be spent in a different manner (i.e., a scholarship or other memorial idea), we will certainly honor that instead. We want Carissa to know that we are here for her and that her son will never be forgotten.
