Memorial for our beloved Shane Kennedy

Hello. My name is Dawn Hayes. I am writing to all of you to ask for assistance in paying for a wonderful man's funeral expenses.

Shane was only 34 years old. He was taken to the emergency room and only a week later, he passed away in the transplant unit at University of Louisville Hospital. Shane was incredible. He had amazing character, which allowed him to change the patterns of his parents. Shane has a young daughter, but the remainder of his family is not biological. He was our brother, our son, our uncle, our friend, and he is loved deeply because of who he was to everyone around him.

Funeral expenses were not expected to be an issue at such a young age. Unfortunately, we are here. Any help with the basic expenses would be so helpful. Due to Shane's religious beliefs, cremation is not an option, and we want to honor his final wishes.
