Memorial for our 14 year old Young Warrior

Our beloved Xiutecuhtli is on his way to join our ancestors, after many months fighting tirelessly for his life. Last Friday, October 30th at 7:00 pm our 14 year old Young Warrior finally left our world after 2 years of struggling with a rare fast growing tumor. He was in constant pain as the tumor grew quickly pressing against his lungs and organs. The tumor was removed once but grew back quickly. The doctors tried chemo which slowed its growth very little. There were no known cures for this kind of tumor in the United States or Canada where he died.
Xiutecuhtli was one of four beautiful children, their father Coyotl Santin and their mother Ambie Kehewin. To lose a child this young is one of the most painful things a parent and family will ever endure. During the past six months with their son's condition and pain worsening and the care and comfort he needed, it has not been possible to maintain a regular life and they are really in need of our financial support. His father Coyotl stopped working two months ago to be present with his son through his struggle and last days. They fought to save the life of this Young Warrior through ceremony and prayer and experienced together the hardest last days of his short life here on Earth.
Their finances have been very limited and family and friends have been supporting as much as they can, but they are at a point where they need help from the greater community. That is all of us! They need to transport Xiutecuhtli's body from Ontario to Alberta Canada so he can rest on the ancestral land of his mother, next to his elders and relatives.
There are many other costs that they need our help with:
-getting their immediate family across Canada to the ceremonial site
-transport of Xiutecuhtli's body
-2 car rentals
-gasoline
-food
-accommodations
Their family as you can imagine, have been going through so much so humbly ask from our heart, those who can help to lessen the burden of this family and allow them to mourn and to grieve without the financial pressure would be so greatly appreciated. Please help if you can so they can stand strong again as family, heal their hearts, minds and spirits.

Nuestro querido Xiuhtecuhtli está en su camino rumbo a los ancestros, después de muchos meses luchando incansablemente por su vida. El viernes pasado, el 30 de octubre a las 7 pm, nuestro Guerrero Joven de 14 años finalmente partió de nuestro mundo, después de 2 años luchando contra un tumor raro de rápido crecimiento. Sacaron el tumor una vez pero pronto creció de nuevo. Los médicos intentaron con la quimioterapia, pero no pudo frenar su crecimiento. No había ninguna cura conocida en los Estados Unidos ni en Canadá donde el falleció.
Xiuhtecuhtli fue uno de cuatro hijos hermosos, su papá Coyotl Santin y su mamá Ambie Kehewin. Perder a un hijo tan joven es una de las cosas más dolorosas que un padre y familia pueden soportar. Durante los últimos seis meses, con la condición y el dolor de su hijo empeorándose, y la atención y consuelo que necesitaba, no ha sido posible mantener la vida normal, y ellos realmente necesitan nuestro ayuda financiera. Su padre Coyotl dejó de trabajar hace dos meses para poder estar presente con su hijo durante su lucha.
