On this last weekend March 2023, Omar Lee Guerrero passed away in his sleep.

If you know Omar, you know his love. Despite the pain in his life, he always forgave others. Despite his addiction, we ALL remember him for his joy and light. His absolute childlike wonder for the world is to never be forgotten. His musical skills, sensitive soul, we could go on! I encourage you all to mourn Omar in any way you knew him and to always know he is in a better place than we could ever imagine. Omar was the best big brother to his siblings, and the best son my mother could have asked for.

"I imagine when I am older that people around me will reflect their true selves. Instead of putting this jacket on with their names bedazzled on the back, they'll welcome me with the same smile I so humbly gave them."

This GoFundMe is to cover the costs of the cremation, memorial plaque, and memorial services.

As an update, we have not decided on a date for Omar's memorial, but we do have the location. Pastor Yohan from Mariners Church offered the Mariners Chapel in Newport Coast, California. We will keep everyone updated as much as we can, and more than anything reach out for support.
