In memory of Michele Ipek Sumbay
12.29.1982 - 03.08.2021

Dedicated to a loving mother, a beautiful and strong woman , Michele Ipek Sumbay, who genuinely cared for all, especially her 2 children , father, family and freinds. 

Michele tragically lost her battle with cancer on Monday March 8th 2021.  At just 38 years young,  she was laid to rest on March 9th , 2021 and her sudden passing devastated so many that loved and cared for her.

Her father is left alone with her 2 children , completely heartbroken after also losing his wife a few years back. Michele was an amazing person with a kind heart, always looking to lend a hand and fighting so hard through this tough battle.

Leaving behind 2 beautiful kids,  Trinity, 9 years old and Trey, 9 month olds who she raised with pride , love and joy every moment of every day ... she gave every ounce of energy to be there for her kids and show them the unconditional love a true mother could show.

Before her diagnosis,  she told me in the hospital, "why did this happen to me. I'm a good person...why..." Michele, you are a great person and always will be an inspiration. May your soul be at peace as you are resting in heaven.

Michele stayed positive throughout her Leukemia treatment , despite difficult days, she always had a smile to stay confident and determined enough to persevere through the battle to return home to her babies.  Through this incredibly difficult fight, she fought the best she could so she come home and be there for her baby girl and newborn son. That drive gave her the courage to remain strong. When she lost her life and tragically and suddenly passed away everyone was left in shock as she was loved by all.
