Michael Joseph Ray, age 72, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025. Born with a passion for the stars, history, and the ocean, Michael dedicated his life to serving others and sharing his love for life's wonders.

A devoted man of faith, Michael was a strong believer in God and lived his life guided by generosity and kindness. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering his time and resources to those in need. Throughout his life, he volunteered at the Atlantic City Rescue Mission and worked at Resorts Casino Hotel for over 30 years, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He found joy in exploring the universe through astronomy, and he loved spending time at the beach, and going on dolphin and whale watching tours with the Cape May Whale Watcher. His warmth and generous spirit touched friends, family, and the community alike.

Michael is survived by his children, Christine and Michael, as well as his grandson, Michael. His legacy of kindness, faith, and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

The Rite of Christian Burial for Michael will be celebrated on Monday, July 7, at 11:00 AM at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish in Northfield, NJ. All are welcome to attend as we pay our respects and celebrate his life.
