Memorial for Maria Camila Pelaez Candiales
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Maria Camila. After a long and hard-fought battle against acute myeloid leukemia, Maria Camila went to be with our Lord on August 10, 2021. She was a warrior and a “Champ” until the very end, walking by strong faith every step of the way until she was called to her heavenly home.
We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds that will go towards Maria Camila’s funerary expenses and other financial burden that her mother and brother may face in the wake of such an unimaginable loss. Her mother has been unable to work regularly the last 3 years, as she has cared for Maria Camila through multiple cancer treatments, 3 transplants and 2 relapses since her diagnosis in 2018. Con una gran tristeza les compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida María Camila. Después de una larga y reñida batalla contra la leucemia mieloide aguda, María Camila partio en compañia de nuestro Señor el 10 de agosto de 2021. Ella fue una guerrera y una “Campeona” hasta el final, siempre aferrada con una fe firme en cada paso del camino hasta que fue llamada a su hogar celestial.
Le pedimos amablemente si pueden donar fondos que se destinarán a los gastos funerarios de María Camila y otras cargas financieras que su madre y su hermano puedan enfrentar a raíz de esta pérdida tan inimaginable. Su madre no ha podido trabajar regularmente en los últimos 3 años, ya que siempre estuvo al cuidado a María Camila a través de los múltiples tratamientos contra el cáncer, 3 trasplantes y 2 recaídas desde su diagnóstico en 2018.
