On Tuesday, May 12, we lost one of the brightest souls to grace this earth. Laura Denise Elliott was a wonderful daughter, a compassionate mother, the most doting grandmother, an exceptional friend, and the most amazing wife.
She inspired countless lives with her incredible honesty, her wit, her joy, and her courageous effort to continuously improve the lives of those around her. The number of people she saved may never be revealed to us, but we are left with a blessed knowing that the ripple effect of her legacy will live on forever.
Her family's deepest wish is now to lay her to rest alongside her sister, atop a glorious mountain in the Colorado Rockies. Some of the funeral expenses have been raised, but it would mean the world to us if you could help with the rest of the financial burden.
Funds raised will be used for procurement of the urn, inurnment, and a memorial plaque. Any extra funds beyond our goal will be donated to one of the many organizations which allowed for us to create lasting memories with our beloved Laura.
Our family would like to lay her to rest within the coming weeks. Her celebration of life service/party will be at a later date, to allow all those who wish to attend time to make travel arrangements. We also want to ensure we can all gather together in person - a virtual service just wouldn't be enough for our amazing angel.
