Her life began as a 2lb preemie. Odds were against her, but she survived, astonishing everyone. She met life's challenges with a loving spirit and surprising strength, overcoming many obstacles.

Kaitlin was unexpectantly admitted to the hospital this past June. For the next four months she remained there, enduring countless procedures and surgeries. We believed (and were told) she should make a good recovery. Unfortunately, this did not go as expected. Instead of planning her homecoming, we're in the process of arranging her funeral.
