Kailyn Celesta Howard, 14, met Jesus on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
While her time here was far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will echo for years to come. Born October 29, 2010, Kailyn was a radiant soul—artistic, compassionate, and fiercely kind. Whether playing her trombone in the Charger Pride Marching Band or quietly sketching her next creation, she found joy in the simple things and shared her warmth with everyone around her. She was an incredible big sister, loyal friend, and had a spirit of compassion that helped everyone around her feel seen and accepted.
She had a heart of gold—and while her spirit was strong, her physical heart ultimately couldn’t keep up. Kailyn passed due to natural causes—pulmonary edema—that took her far too soon.
Kailyn's mom, Stephanie Howard, is the Campus Store Manager at Ivy Tech Community College’s Fort Wayne campus and a valued member of the eCampus.com team. She has served her students and campus community with dedication and heart, and now, in this time of unimaginable loss, we have the opportunity to serve her in return.
As the family grieves, they are also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. Kailyn did not have life insurance, and your support—whether through donations or simply sharing this page and offering your prayers—means the world.
If you feel moved, please consider donating to help ease the financial stress for Stephanie, her father Andrew, and Kailyn’s little sister Kinley. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a heartfelt gift of love and solidarity.
Funeral preparations are still in progress. Once finalized, this page will be updated. The identified service date is only an estimate.
Thank you for standing with the Howard family and for helping us honor the life of their daughter.
❤️ With love and gratitude.
