Memorial for Jose Luis Godoy Ramos

Sadly after a strong and valiant fight Jose Luis
Godoy Ramos, 49, passed away on the night of November 4, 2020. He was a smart, strong, self-driven, well-rounded and hard working man. He continuously did his best to help his family, friends and strangers in need.

He was diagnosed with kidney disease in the year 2009. His illness had prevented him from doing a lot of things. However, even with on-going dialysis treatment he worked hard and fought day to day to provide for his family.

He had dreams, wanted to do many things. He had faith that a kidney transplant would have brought many opportunities. Unfortunately, COVID 19 was too harsh of a blow. He tested positive on Oct 20, 2020. His body could not overcome this vicious virus. The virus deteriorated his health in matter of days. We didn’t get the opportunity to be with him in person to say our goodbyes like many other families. Our hearts go out to everyone facing difficult times through this pandemic.

The loss of a parent and husband has not only brought tremendous emotional pain but also financial stress. We ask that you find it in your hearts to help a family in need, any contributions will be immensely appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
