Hello friends and family,
I'm writing this for my mother, Amanda. But, more importantly, I'm doing this for my stepfather, John. John came home from the hospital on Valentines Day with news that no family wants to hear. We were told that he is dying. He may have a few weeks to a few months to live. He had been sick for a long time and we knew this day would come. This knowledge doesn't make the finality of this news any easier to accept. My mother and John have been together 29yrs(25 of that married). They live on a very fixed income and the money raised here will go to final expenses for him.
