My name is Eric "Gus" Gullerud, and I am helping Andy Stone and other classmates from Uni Class of 1976 to raise funds to honor Jim Worley, our Senior Class President.  At his memorial service, Jim was remembered as a loving family member and friend, loyal and brave, funny and smart.  In Jim’s honor,  funds raised will support the Anita Purves Nature Center in Crystal Lake Park, Urbana, Illinois, next to Busey Woods. The minimum donation for this type of memorial is $300, which secures the planting of a tree near the nature center. $600 supports the planting of two trees.  If we can raise $800, at the base of a tree would be added a 6x6” bronze plaque to honor Jim.  If donations reach $2,000, a bench with Jim's name could be funded instead. Other options may be possible, including supporting Nature Center programs in Jim's memory. Any amount you would like to donate is welcome, and your contribution can be anonymous or under your name, as you prefer. Please help us provide a lasting tribute to our beloved friend and classmate.
