My name is Alison Maine, and I’m fundraising for the Parker Family. Jeff, the father, was admitted to the hospital over 3 months ago with heart problems. The very next day Jeff was placed on life support. From there, he went into multi-organ failure including dialysis. Jeff fought his way back from being on life support, but during the time on the ventilator, Jeff developed a Stage 4 pressure ulcer which resulted in 6 surgeries, and became infected. Jeff was airlifted to a shock trauma unit in Maryland where the family was told the devastating news that the wound was not survivable. Jeff was able to get transferred back to a local hospital where he passed away surrounded by his family. Jeff leaves behind his wife Courtney of 22 years, and 4 kids, Kelsie (20), Jeffrey (18), Lacie (15), and Kynlie (6).

Jeff was self-employed as a local small business owner, and this sudden illness and passing away of Jeff has left the family without income.
