On January 17th, 2021, the Blankenburg School family suffered a terrible loss. One of our former scholars, Jaquan WIlliams, was tragically shot while walking to the store in the West Philadelphia section of the city on January 16th, 2021. Jaquan was a hard working student, a great big brother, and a loyal friend who will be dearly missed for his positivity and infectious smile. Many of you have reached out to ask how you can help support the family during this tragic time. The Blankenburg school family has created this GoFund Me, in honor of Jaquan, to help assist the family with funeral expenses. All monies will be donated to pay for the funeral and a school based memorial.  We greatly appreciate any donation that you are able to contribute.
