Memorial for James (Jimmy) Meiers
Donation protected
Beloved son, brother, and friend Jimmy Meiers passed away Monday, Nov. 30, at the age of 30. He has joined nearly 275,000 other Americans as a person whose life was tragically cut short by COVID-19.
An embodiment of optimism and happiness, Jimmy had a singular goal in life: create joy for himself and others. In every endeavor Jimmy undertook, from the mundane to the magnificent, he helped his friends and family live life on the brighter side. He was a jokester with a tender heart, equally as ready to keep you on your toes with a prank or to say a kind word to lift you up. His loved ones will especially miss the camaraderie he grew, as Jimmy could walk into any room and become the life of the party, bringing together everyone around him.
Jimmy would help lift the spirits of his friends around him by saying "instead of being sad, have you tried not being sad and being awesome instead?" In that spirit, we are hoping to honor Jimmy's memory by doing something awesome: removing some of the financial burden from his death for his amazing family.
